Eight Prayer Watches is all about a healthy prayer life, which is two-fold. Prayer is a conversation that we have with God; and communication, even with God, can range from casual and relaxed to structured and strategic. Developing a deeper, more fruitful prayer life enables us to better discern the times and seasons of life.
The Bible puts an enormous weight on the importance of time, especially when it comes to prayer. The most noteworthy scriptural events, including the crucifixion itself, are anchored in place by the time of their occurrences. There are eight prayer watches, noted in Scripture, within a 24-hour span of time, each with its own purposeful significance. As we explore those events, we will become more aware of God’s timing, as it relates to the revolving seasons of our own lives.
